A New Years Wedding
How did I spend my New Years Eve?
Well do what I love of course! Photographing a wedding. Ok maybe not a true wedding, but might have as well been!
The love between these two shines just as bright as anyone on their wedding day, with a hit of sarcastic love that comes with being married for a while. All in good fun however, if you have been married or together more than a couple years you know what I am talking about.
This was just a styled session I had originally planned with this couple to go out in the freezing snow and capture some fun romantic shots. But of course Montana weather had other plans for us. But It still turned out fantastic!
When I was searching for a location I was contacted by Jessica the operator at the new Legacy barn at Lonesome Spur Ranch. To say I was thrilled was an understatement. Anytime I get to work in this kind of setting I feel at home. This cute property is a great venue for a rustic western wedding. Complete with views of the mountains, room for ladies to get ready, and a beautiful barn! Highly recommend you go check them out!
Now Jessica and I were not alone in this venture, we had Emily with Beyond Happy and Ember & Indigo helping us along the way. Her help was absolutely appreciated! It would have taken me twice as long to get things done and her design work elevated our images. This was my first experience getting to work alongside a coordinator and now I wish all my weddings would hire one, more specially Emily, HAHA!
With the team effort of the models and vendors we put on a great New Years Eve wedding session. Now we are all itching for wedding season to be here!
