Katie & Danny decided to spend some time with me in the Red Lodge to celebrate their 22nd anniversary! How cool is that! They just had their last baby graduate from high school and are now grandparents. I first met Katie during one of my mini session marathons, one of the sweetest ladies I've met! She had seen I was looking for a couple to go up to the mountains and model some bridal portraits. She thought that this would be a great way to celebrate the two of them and I couldn't agree more! I mean just look at how in love these two are!
While in Red Lodge we got lots of rain, but that didn't stop us (yet at least)! We grabbed the umbrellas and went for it. Did we get wet? Yes! Was it worth it? YES! I will forever love rainy day sessions from here on out.
What we didn't know would happen just a couple hours after this session was that Red Lodge was going to flood and rivers were going to cause some major damage in Red Lodge, Nye (where we were suppose to go next), Absarokee and many other places. We were very lucky to not get stranded any where and we got to take some amazing rainy day photos.
Oh I also forgot to mention! She went out and got this beautiful romper just for the occasion, because the wrinkles in her wedding gown wouldn't come out. How sweet is that!
